As you know I am the ambassador for Romance and it was such an honour to showcase the brand at Orange County Fashion Week!
OC Fashion Week offers fashion designers West Coast diversity and exposure to some of the world’s leading retail buyers that not only live in OC, but attract their global counterparts who frequently do business on the California Riviera.
Romance Tiffany Dress – sold out
As Project Manager for OFCW I was in charge of picking and styling the models for the show and ensuring that everything went perfectly on the day.
At one point I was inundated with models who saw the designs and were desperate to walk for us. I had to pick 7 girls and there were a few disappointments. One even cried but hey that’s fashion! Actually the mum in me came out and I felt really sorry for her. Poor thing. I put her in the photo-shoot at the end.
Backstage was mayhem but no one sees the stress behind the scenes just the end result and thankfully it went without a hitch.
Soka University of America
Set against the beautiful backdrop of Soka University of America the stunning Romance the Labelgowns stunned the guests in attendance.
Models appeared to walk on water as they glided down the runway to the sounds of Delibes Flower Duet which fitted the location and the collection perfectly.
It was such an amazing experience and something that I was so proud to be a part of.
Thanks to my partner in crime/photographer/bag carrier Jerome Lafforgue we got some amazing images from the event and I hope you agree that the models look sensational!
